I have talked about many ways to take care of our bodies to prevent and control diseases, such as eating a whole food, plant based diet, using herbs, meditating, the healing benefits of the sun and nature. There are also other good natural remedies.
In today’s post, at the end of my 30 day challenge, I what to tell about the ultimate healer, Jesus Christ. He healed the sick when He was alive. He can still heal us today as we have faith in Him and it is His will that we be healed.
“And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people…and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.” (Alma 7:11-12) As this scripture states, part of Christ’s Atonement was to take upon him our illnesses and afflictions. He is the only one who truly understands what we are going through, because he has been there. He is the one who can tell us what we need to do to be healed. Pray and meditate and He will tell you what you need to do to find comfort in your afflictions and ultimately be healed.
